One of my top priorities is to gut property taxes completely—eliminate them so your home is yours, period. If that’s not doable right away, I’ll fight to cut them as low as we can go, because you shouldn’t be taxed just for owning what’s yours. I’ll also stand up to Des Moines when they try to pile on rules or mandates that make owning a home harder. Less government meddling means more freedom to own—that’s my pledge.”
