About Dillon

Dillon Fillion was born on May 9, 2004, in Davenport, Iowa. His father, Martin, immigrated from Canada on a D1 hockey scholarship and later built a career at John Deere. His mother, Wende, is a healthcare professional. Raised alongside three siblings, Dillon was grounded in Christian family values, a strong work ethic, and the perseverance to stand by his principles no matter the challenge.

Dillon graduated from Bettendorf High School in 2023 and is currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice at Scott Community College. A talented hockey player, he chose to decline further hockey opportunities in order to focus on his education and his advocacy for the people of Iowa.

Dillon is a young leader who is grounded in faith, family, hard work, and a deep love for the state of Iowa.

He believes in serving others, working hard, keeping his word, and standing up for the people and communities he represents. Dillon brings a fresh perspective, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to making Iowa an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Dillon is running because Iowans deserve a representative who will listen to them, work for them, and never forget who he represents. He is running to be a strong, honest, and hardworking voice for the people of House District 81.

A Grassroots Leader with Real Experience

Dillon has volunteered and worked on political campaigns, gaining firsthand experience connecting with voters and communities.

Through those experiences, he has had the opportunity to meet and learn from the great people of Iowa and see firsthand the values, hard work, and dedication that make Iowa such a special place.

Those experiences have shaped Dillon and strengthened his commitment to serving the people of House District 81. He believes leadership starts with listening to people, understanding their concerns, and earning their trust through hard work and service.
