Foreign National Contributions Prohibited

Federal law strictly prohibits contributions, donations, or expenditures by foreign nationals in connection with any U.S. election. This prohibition applies to all levels of government, including state legislative races. The Campaign will not accept or retain contributions from foreign nationals.

Corporate Contributions Prohibited

Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, national banks, federally chartered corporations, or any other prohibited entity may not be accepted. All contributions must come from individuals using personal funds.

Contribution Limits

Contributions to Iowa state legislative campaigns are subject to limits established by Iowa law. Current limits for Iowa House candidates are set by the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board. Please consult ethics.iowa.gov for the most current limits applicable to your contribution.

The Campaign is responsible for returning any contribution that exceeds applicable limits. If your contribution exceeds the legal limit, we will contact you to arrange a refund of the excess amount.

Refund Policy

Contributions are generally non-refundable once made. However, the Campaign will consider refund requests submitted in writing within 30 days of the original contribution date. To request a refund, email contact@dillonfillion.com with your full name, contribution amount, contribution date, and reason for your request. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within a reasonable time.

Contributions that are found to be from prohibited sources will be refunded regardless of the 30-day window.
